Voting Changes for New York State and Federal Primaries
With the spread of COVID-19 and the implementation of NYS Pause our primary voting schedules have changed.
Thanks to an executive order from Gov. Cuomo both State and Federal Primaries will be held on June 23.
Madison County Board of Elections is already planning on one early voting site and we are lobbying the Madison County Board of Supervisors for another site.
The state senate is discussing methods to increase voting by mail. The Biaggi bill would expand the use of absentee voting during the time of a a health crisis and may be one way to ensure voting by mail is possible.
The Madison County Board of Supervisors are committed to ensuring Madison County citizens have access to broadband technologies which are second to none in New York.
Please take the broadband service survey to help your County plan for a connected future. Take the survey here.
